Eastwood, P.E., D.GE, DFE, C.A.P.M., F.FPA, F.ASCE, President, Geotech Engineering and Testing (GET)<br /><br />The forensic presentation focuses on design, construction, materials, environmental conditions, and wear and tear. The seminar starts with signs of distress such as, foundation movements, sheetrock cracking, water vapor coming through slab, slope failures, pool failures, pavement failures, etc. The effect of trees on foundations will be discussed. Other topics such as perched water table, elevation measurements, slab deflection criteria, benchmark construction, climatic conditions and non-destructive testing will be discussed.
